BARS Wristband Printing software is a stand alone module. A hospital does not have to use BARS control units.

The wristband can be configured to suit a hospitals particular requirements.

• The information can be obtained through either:
  The hospitals own Patient Administration System if using SQL Server
• A Wristband Database loaded via a BARS link with Patient Administration System.

A 2D barcode can hold 1000 characters, making the system futureproof.

The same software is also used forprinting patient labels, that can be stuck onto patient notes.
